Der Tod und Das Mädchen

Before anyone gets the wrong impression, I am not learning German.

At least, no yet.

Just a normal update of the company's affairs and "UPDATE: 27th of April 2008" sounds too bland, so I 'll start naming these updates after my favourite classical pieces if there is nothing more to add.

"Der Tod und Das Mädchen" or "Death and the Maiden" in English is a string ensemble piece by the great musical genius, Franz Peter Schubert.

The piece is at once repetitive, sarcastic, cynical, and outright gloomy. Yet, in burst of high-pitched wails, contains screams of accomplishments and glories in life that still fail to soar above the ever present undertones of the shadow of death.

At least, that's how I see it.

Back to our company though, and the latest prognosis on the curtains and accessories web merchant project seems to have stalled indefinitely, with the company director too busy to review our contract.

The silver lining: We, or rather Flyzzx, has more time to finish the Palma project.

Speaking of Flyzzx, do you know he is one of the few students in Penang who managed to get stright A1's in the STPM for all his papers?

No.

That's understandable, since he doesn't boast of his achievements unless you persist in questioning him like Vic Mackey on an informant.

Last week, Flyzzx went over to Singapore to attend a very special interview:

As a student for NTU.

We wish him all the best and hope he shows those Singaporeans how little appreciation the government and the education system gives him.

In other news, our company website has been delayed again because of design issues.

Design issues = Problematic design decisions that require further re-evaluation and recoding.
